great location, loved the whirlpool with the view, comfortable, friendly and helpful staff.
the food was good in the restaurant but the ambiance was lacking.
Our stay at Hotel Monopol was wonderful. The Hotel pickup from the station was heaven sent. The close proximity of the hotel to the ski train was so convenient. Our original room was one of the more classical rooms and my husband and I preferred the more modern rooms. Elisa at reception accommodated our desire to move to one of the more modern rooms and booked us into one as soon as one was available. The gym facillities were great and though we did not use the spa, the option to do so was appealing. The breakfast was great and the availability of soy milk on request was very much appreciated. Without a doubt though it was Fausto at the bar who made our stay! His professionalism, kind manner and delicious cocktails will not be forgotten.
Excellent location, only a 5 minute walk from the station and right in the centre with all the shops, restaurants and bars around and just 5 minutes from the ski lift. The staff were excellent and attentive. The spa was lovely with a brilliant hot tub with a view of the church tower, lake and mountains. The perfect end to a day skiing. THe ski room was good, bed very comfy and breakfast delicious.
Nice mountain view, Hotel staffs are friendly.
Room too overprice. Toilet heater not warm enough. Noisy room as soundproof is rather bad for this hotel.
They made a free upgrade to a double room considering that I went there with my girlfriend
Location, ski room facility
tiny room for CHF 600 a day is ridiculous
Everything was excelent. Service, the room, the spa. We were upgraded to a Junior suite with no additional charge. We realy enjoyed being relaxed into the jacuzzi with an awesome mountain view on the 6th floor (spa) with no additional charge. It was just excellent.
excellent location and a top quality room
additional car parking fee excessive
Service was great. Staff offered to make reservations and tickets, made them without extra price and very kindly. E-mail communication prior to arrival very friendly. Pick up service also attentive. All staff very nice. Good view from the spa that has a great hydro-massage and sauna.
Pricy as everything in St Moritz. Should have Wi-fi at bedroom without extra charge.
Good central location and friendly staff. Also, travelling as a gay couple, the staff were remarkably un-intrusive.
The beds were too soft and the pillows were remarkably uncomfortable.
Elegant, luxurious, good food
Very helpful and friendly staff. Good access to ski slopes (only a short walk). Right in the heart of St Moritz
I would have liked a couple more English TV Channels - there were 3 English news channels and only 1 English Entertainment Channel.
The location was excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful. The morning breakfast exceeded all of our expectations.
There was a high charge for internet, a deterrant for todays travelers. Our room was very well apointed but the temperature was too high and we had to leave a window open to keep it cool enough. There are steps up to the front door without ramps for lugage or handicap accdess.
At first we were in one of the older rooms but then were moved to the newer rooms. It was excellent and very close to the ski tows. Lovely town and hotel
Great location and good value for st moritz
